From 11 to 28 September 2010 there will be a small drawingpresentation by Haagse Dames in a showroom at Haagse Kunstkring, initiated by Pietertje van Splunter.

There are drawings made by 21 participants of "de Haagse Dames": Rachel Bacon, Sara Benhamou, Channa Boon, Manon Bovenkerk, Jacqueline Heerema, Natasja van Kampen, Rozemarijn Lucassen, Annechien Meier, Ingrid Mol, Sara Nuytemans, Marenthe Otten, Ellen Rodenberg, Stefanie Scholte, Barbara Smeenk, Tanja Smit, Pietertje van Splunter, Elizabeth de Vaal, Ira van der Valk, Sara Vrugt, Rieme Gleijm, Aline Thomassen and Babette Wagenvoort.

"Haagse Dames" is a changing group female artists based in The Hague, who meet since 2007 each month in an atelier of one of the participants. The host gives a presentation about her works and discussions follow. Afterwards a résumé with links is send around to all artists of the group.

Babette Wagenvoort is the organiser of these events.


"In de bus van Den Haag naar Nancy" (in the buss from The Hague to Nancy) I was drawing objects and technical parts that I saw on the highway, which I didn't understand and which I could only see briefly, cause I was sitting in a driving buss. This tinywork is my input.
